Christmas Eve

Grades are posted & I still have one class to complete.  I will be doing a presentation to do for my last class in Transmedia Story telling which is my last class. I am excited about it and nervous too!

Spent yesterday at work and then working on resume.  I have the notes I need to update it and then to submit the info for a job! Wish me luck.

I spent the day with the boys cooking. We made homemade pirogis for our Christmas Eve dinner.  It is 13 courses and yummy!  Everything we made is homemade. We made Leven bread, my grandma's recipe, a mushroom soup, kapusta- sauerkraut soup, split pea soup, and more! It smells good!

I finished my web page on Sunday!! I was due on Monday I got it done early!! One of the only things I got done early.

End of year

It is the end of the semester and I have one more test tomorrow and that will be the end of my tests!!! Then I get to look for a job. I have done well on the exams so far I hope I continue with the good grades till the end.  I get to go study now! Have a good night!

Well this semester has had it's fill of drama.  I have had a loss of a family member and it has taken two weeks away from school.  I am happy that my teachers have all worked with me and helped when they can and also my class mates have kept me informed of what is going on in classes.

I have tried to find a part time job with a company in Rapid City and I still need to contact them back. Do not give up be persistent! I told that to my boys and it worked for their first job!!! YEA!!! My boys have a job!! Now I am next to get a job!

I have realized that there are more opportunities for a graphic designer, like book covers, calendars, signs and advertisement.  I can still be an artist with the skills I have learned and I have an awesome idea for the Rapid City Rush that will be an awesome advertisement! Now to get to work.

To stare at a blank screen is frustrating. I don't know what to say.  I am trying to plan out my project & remember to do all of the homework from my other classes, blog on 3 or 4 different places and not go nuts with senioritis.

So lets get started.

• When ever you go to retrieve a clue you must be professional & respectful.

Well I guess this is about the best place to start.  I am in a Transmedia Storytelling class & I am looking for some people in two different categories. One is to play the game and the other is to help make the game work.

First some of the rules of the game.  

• You need a team of four players & access to both the Rapid City & Spearfish areas. Now if you are the only person in the area and are willing to once a week(or every other week) travel to one city or the other, they will be the runners. The other three can be friends on line, in school or anywhere.
• This will be a mystery you need to solve. You must find the clues to discover the question & answer. 
• Only one of the members will be the person that will make all the email contact for the game.
• If you have any questions about the game and rules you must ask by email.  This way I can post new rules & new information.
• As needed new rules & guide lines will be added.

The people I need to help will be working with helping keep our players interested and intrigued about the game.  We will have multiple media used and, if lucky, lots of email to go through.  I want your ideas and input.  Any questions?

Potiential of Multimedia

This is my last semester!!  I started two years ago thinking it would be a long two years.  It wasn't. Time slid by to quickly.  I hope to be using the skills that I have learned to create a career I enjoy, this being the main reason I went back to school for another degree.  
One item I was introduced to was a program that made digital books more interactive in an almost 3D way.  You could blow on it and make a wind mill turn; there was sound for some of the images and the pages could be turned by the swipe of your finger.  This program could open the door for so many children to help get them interested in reading.  It might also be able to be used to assist with learning disabilities.  With innovative programs like this, multimedia has unlimited potential.
